Fall in love with Shelly Quarmby's whisteful adult
contemporary music. Acoustic in style, a blend of
lyrical honesty and vocal perfection in warm piano
driven melodies. The decision to put out an EP was
one of personal reasons. "Stay" is a collection of
six songs that expose Shelly as the candid
songwriter she is. "Writing is about moving forward
and these songs belong together as a collection from
a certain time in my life" she says. From the
headstrong "Let Me Be The One" and "I'll Be Gone" to
the cynical "Love's Not All There is To It" and
romantic "Stay" there is a great deal of dreaming, a
handful of
metaphors and a truly heart-warming voice
in this elegant debut.
