Thank you, thank you, thank you – to YOU the audience for being so supportive of live music in a living room!

This was my first house concert and it certainly won’t be my last.  I am feeling a little smug at the artists chosen, as all your emails have been coming in saying how well chosen and balanced the music was for the night.  Heidi Browne was as sweet and soulful as she always is, Driftwood Store, well what can I say, I need to sing with them sometime, gorgeous voices, gorgeous harmonies and if you got the privilege of talking to them you’ll know what super nice people Che and Katherine are, I am so excited for their musical journey (yes I just said journey!). Thank you for the wonderful comments about my new songs and topping it off we had the ever entertaining and a little bit cheeky David Blair!

You really don’t have to go far outside your own front door to find local talent, so I really encourage you all to tell your friends that real live music is out there being played day in day out, you don’t have to wait for the next season of X-Factor, please continue to support artists, house concerts developed out of the need for music lovers and musicians alike to find a common place to be appreciated due to live music venues dwindling.  It’s a sign of the times, but it definitely is not a sign of lack of talent as I’m sure all of you witnessed on Saturday.  So, thank you from all the artist to you for being there – now who’s house is next?
