Tomorrow will be the first day in the studio starting to track the songs “You Lie” and “Cry Now”.

I have held off recording anything new for a very long time, so firstly I want to say thank you very much for your continued support at gigs and coming out and still enjoying the EP “Change”.  The EP is still very much a part of my progress as an artist, but music as in life has to move on!

I love the fact that I’m starting to record these two songs together, because in fact they started out life as one song!  And, if you have been to a live show you’ll know that these songs are nothing like each other.  They are very personal songs and close to my heart and it’s probably one of the reasons I’ve held off recording anything new for a while.  There was a period of time from 2011 to mid 2013 where I doubted a lot of things and the timing just hadn’t been right for me to start a fresh project, i.e. a new album.  I know you are going to love these songs, whether they are part of the new album or released alone.  I will continue to post news about the recording!
